I am Helena Ortiz, Co-founder of Techer Team (an Extended Reality consulting and development company), based in Spain with international clients.
Techer Team are the creators of Visuamed: the first Virtual Reality based surgical planning platform for the Metaverse.
Techer Team has been nominated Top 10 Provider VR AR; finalist in the Marketing section of Laval Virtual 2019; Top4 VR companies for shipyards (August 19); and in 2020, we have been jury of the Halo Awards for Virtual Reality, among other recognitions for our international work.
Regarding my education, I have a degree in Marketing and Commercial Management and a degree in Communication and Public Relations. I have completed a Master’s Degree in Financial Communication; Digital Communication and Branding and a Master’s Degree in Education. Also, I have completed a distance learning course in Virtual Reality at the University of London (Goldsmith); the Women Entrepreneurship course at Thunderbird Business School (University of Arizona) or the Negotiation Campbooth at the London School of Economics (LSE) or recently the acceleration programme for start-ups at Babson College.

In the professional field, and linked to technology, I have more than 25 years of working experience in Marketing in sectors such as: banking, neuromarketing, biomedicine and… And 5 years ago, moved beyond my comfort zone towards the technological world and the exciting disruptive technologies.
