I grew up in Iowa, USA, and graduated from the University of Iowa, B.A. English.

For most of my adult life, my work required that I travel and live in other countries: Canada; Liberia (Africa); Chihuahua, Mexico.

I now reside back in my hometown, Des Moines, Iowa. It is here I write and speak about a unique meditation technique I developed to counter depression.

My first published book is Brain-talk Meets God-talk: How neurology and theology merge to rewire your  brain and restore your peace. This book has helped many people who suffer from depression.

Brain-talk Meets God-talk is published by Igniting Souls Publishing Agency and registered through Blockchain Life for the ISBNFT Registry. My new passion is to reach a wider global audience with metaverse technology to help wounded souls be healed and restored.
