As of October 2024, many big tech companies like Intel, Qualcomm, Dell, Microsoft, and IBM have been laying off employees (and that’s just scratching the surface).
It feels like there’s a big shift happening in the job market right now, with Artificial Intelligence driving these changes. On one hand, AI offers amazing progress and makes things super efficient. But it also brings up some uneasy thoughts about what work will look like in the future.
When people think about robots taking over jobs, there’s this mix of excitement and dread. Losing a job to automation can feel pretty overwhelming, and these changes make us think hard about concepts like Universal Basic Income (UBI).
We’ll discuss more about these topics in this article and look at how AI might impact our communities. Let’s talk about what we, as individuals, can actually do to keep up with everything that’s evolving.
How you found effective ways to deal with these feelings and find a new path in this new world of AI?
